Curriculum Vitae
 
Dr. Leonard Grob is Professor of Philosophy and Coordinator of Philosophy Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, New Jersey, where he also directs the University Core Curriculum Program. Among his Holocaust-related publications is "Goodbye, Father" (Judaism, Winter 1990), which describes his roots journey to the Ukraine. His experience in uncovering the history of the destruction of his father's family led him to field of Holocaust Studies. Dr. Grob teaches a course entitled "The Holocaust: Philosophical Issues" each year at FDU. Additional publications in this area include articles on post-Holocaust ethics, post-Shoah education, and the forthcoming "The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict: Just Reconciliation in the Shadows of the Holocaust." Dr. Grob is also the co-organizer of the biennial Pastora Goldner Holocaust Symposium, an international conference of Holocaust scholars held at FDU's British Campus, Wroxton College, in Oxfordshire.
