HUBERT G. LOCKE, a graduate of Wayne State University, the University of
Michigan and the University of Chicago, has devoted over three decades
to study and writing on the Holocaust. He is co-founder of the annual
Scholars Conference on the Holocaust and the Churches, author of a
number of books and articles on topics related to the Holocaust and the
German Third Reich [including Exile in the Fatherland: The Prison
Letters of Martin Niemoller; Learning from History: An
African-American's Perspective on the Holocaust], has been Distinguished
Professor of Holocaust Studies at the Richard Stockton College [1992 and
2001] and is a frequent speaker at Yom HaShoah observances].
