Annegret Ehmann, a native of Germany, resides in Berlin, was the founding and executive educational director at the Memorial and Educational Centre House of the Wannsee Conference in Berlin from 1986 until 1999. During her tenure in this position, she developed, structured and implemented educational seminars for adults ( teachers and professionals) and students from the region, Germany, Europe and overseas.

Ms. Ehmann also cooperated with Yad Vashem/ Israel, the Washington Holocaust Memorial Museum and with Facing History and Ourselves, - an American based educational organization. She has authored numerous articles and has lectured throughout the world on 20th century German and Jewish history as well as educational issues. Her presentation concerning the way German schools confront The Nazi Era and the Holocaust today, was most enlightening for members of the "Lest We Forget Study Seminars." Ms. Ehmann has been instrumental in the creation of a four-lingual CD-ROM, Learning From History (2000) and is editor of the follow-up website available at www.learning-from-history.de.
