Inheritance Project | art and images beyond a silenced genocide
Artists John Mahtesian (Chicago, IL) is a photographer whose keen interest in the hidden designs of everyday life has produced photographs rich in the "implied and unspoken." His large body of work covers forty-five years of travel, always seeking for the soul of a site to be revealed by its inhabitants. Journeys, a book of his collected photographs is currently available in limited edition through the Art Institute of Chicago book store and the Seminary Co-op Bookstore in Hyde Park, Chicago.
