Nowhere To Go - Buried Rights, Pastels/cutout canvas, 79" x 70",1991
I use a symbol of civilization, an Etruscan urn, to address the question, How could such an atrocity happen in the center of civilized Europe? An answer to a letter of inquiry,(collaged unto the artwork) which my father wrote concerning the whereabouts of his parents stated: "Persons more than 50 years of age did not return".
