The Coming of Jesus
By the 31st of December 1999 and the end of the 20th century so many myths had spread about the prophecy of what will happen by the year 2000. In fact, the whole world was affected but especially the village of Ebokobo was very much affected. People had told their dreams about the year 2000. Others had told the vision in the prophecy of what will happen in the year 2000. The scientists also played a major role in this; they had passed the fright in the village that all the computers were to face the millennium bug if they were not Y2Kcompliant. And the giant stone planet to will crash the earth. Other one was a fright caused by the lay that lived in the convent inside Ebokobo missionary station, rare through the village market running like a mad person. She was jumping and turning round, you would think it was Cinderella at the prince colors. People had gathered around her when she stopped suddenly and said (I will see my king! I will see my king!) Then she broke in to a song:

Aha. There was a drunkard who was completely soaked asked the lady" women, who is your king? What do you think was the answer? Of course many people would have chorused the answer. But she said to the crowd that Jesus had appeared to her and told that he will be coming on 31 st December 1999. Many people were amazed, some fainted and some ran away making funny sounds. The village of Ebokobo was filled with noises of every nature. Some people sold their properties to take the money to the church. What would you have done none what did you do for this happened here on earth? Indeed Jesus came on 31 st at about 8:OOPM in the night (evening) the trumpets filled the air at around 7:OOPM in the evening. "Poooproo, poooproo ,poooproo!" The elder of Ebokobo dressed in his royal clothes waited for Jesus and Jesus came at around 8:OOPM. The elder Elgumbe went forward with his servants to welcome Jesus. Jesus went in to the palace and the table was filled with varieties of foods. Elgumbe then told Jesus that I have a welcoming song for you, when you first came, I mean went you were born, angle sung a song. "Silent night, holy night x2"
Wasn't that the song Jesus? Jesus nodded in acknowledgment and said "true Elgumbe then switched on the radio and the room was filled with Christmas, Christmas, everybody was singing. Elgumbe said, "Today we have many singers to sing for you a Christmas songs. Hmm listen to this Jesus, listen to this."

Elgumbe stopped suddenly and asked Jesus "do you take wine, you took wine last time you were here, was it white and red wine? Hmm! Come on today Jesus, we have Brandy, Vodka, Champaign, whisky and many more or do you take beer nowadays, there is tusker, pilaster
no, no just take wine. "Jesus looked in amazement and then said let's come to the table
later. "It is okay", said Elgumbe. Elgumbe was happy and told him " Jesus, yes Jesus today we don't send people to convey messages. We get them and send messages through modern technology, television, radio, e-mail-fax and many more. Aha technology, technology Jesus, people don't use bows, arrows, pangs and aces. But missiles, atomic bombs, nuclear bomb
and machine-gun revolvers and much more. Jesus we are developing day and night "now
let's go to the political arena said Elgumbe. He reminded Jesus, that he rode on a donkey to Jerusalem but today we drive in these, Nissan, Trouper, Benz, BMW and many more. The drive started the engine and "boom" drove them to the arena. On the way, a nice decorated red carpet was laid and this remind Jesus that in Jerusalem people laid their clothes and
branches but today a carpet is rolled for him. They went to the court and two people were given a death penalty, Jesus questioned why and how? Elgumbe told him that no stones
were cast on them, but they are properly and nicely killed by machines. Elgumbe said to him Jesus today we live happily cross water by ship-ferries, motor boats and that is a part of technology Jesus, "Jesus said " then said he need some sleep for it was about 1:OOAM in the night. Elgumbe said "any way I don't want to keep you for long here but I don't want you to ascend as you did at first, I will give you a rocket to take you to heaven. Because we are not ready for the judgment right now, just go to heaven and when we will be ready to terminate
the life of a man on earth, we will call for you. "And Jesus was taken by rocket to heaven
"boom" and everybody was looking up saying bye-bye.
