Naomi M. Pridjian, (West Chicago, IL) is an assemblage artist, working with a variety of found and made objects and materials, using boxes as her structural format. Her work explores the interplay between heart/mind experience and contemporary, cultural power structures typified in themes of power and powerlessness, oppression and resistance. She has exhibited widely and has received several awards and honors. She is a member of the Chicago Women's Caucus for Art. | ||||
