Centre for Preventing Crimes in Värmland

BFC is a non political organization and supported by the local communities, the policeauthorities, the labourunion of Värmland and also some private companies. BFC is working in many different ways both local, regional and Central to prevent crimes in Värmland.

"Värmland free from nazism" is one of our goals and one way of many to reach this goal is organizing studytrips to AuschwitzBirkenau. Every year we go four or five times with about 45 travellers each trip. We also bring a survivor from Birkenau on our trips.

Who Are Our Travellers?

Pupils, teachers, people from the trade union, politicians, artists, people working with young people and some private persons.

Why Do We go?

The main reasons are:

  1. Defending our democracy, every generation has to win it again.
  2. Your own personal responsibility for your thinking and acting.
  3. Intervene when people insult other peoples' human rights both in your neighbourhood and in a wider way. Don't be silent!

The purpose with the trips is that people who have joined us make lectures and speeches about the points above in their organizations when we return.
