Exhibition Information

Dates: December 18,1999 - March 12, 2000

Origin: Witness and Legacy: Contemporary Art About the Holocaust is a traveling exhibition, organized by the Minnesota Museum of American Art, Saint Paul, Minnesota. DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park is the only venue in the northeast exhibiting Witness and Legacy.

Scope of Artworks and Artists: Witness and Legacy consists of paintings, photographs, drawings, sculptures, collages, needlepoint, prints, videos, and five installation works by twentyfour artists. The artists are from all over the country, including five from the Boston area.

School Tours: Tour groups will be asked to divide into groups of 1012 students due to the restrictive size of the installations.
